In Japanese mingu refers to objects, tools, or furniture traditionally used for everyday lives by common people. We rescue mingu from being thrown away from old housed in satoyama. Mingus are already finished products, but they can also be materials if they should to be repaired or reformed.

Wooden houses have been lived in for a long time with many repairs being made.
